Giving Back: WGECC and the Carson Scholar’s Fund

The physicians of West Georgia Eye Care Center believe in giving back both locally and globally: medical missions, sponsorship, volunteering in the community, etc. That desire to invest in worthy causes does not end with our doctors, however. Collectively, the staff of WGECC gives back, too, with a recent contribution being a gift to the Carson Scholars Fund in honor of our physicians. Dr. Ben Carson, a celebrated author and neurosurgeon–the first to successfully separate twins conjoined at the head–is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and also a presidential candidate, offers his thanks to our practice in the video above.
