A Visit from Dr. Nicholas (et al): WGECC Christmas Eve 2020
Posted by: West Georgia Eye Care Center in Frontpage Article on December 23, 2020
‘Twas the day before Christmas,
Christmas Eve, 2020,
Our doctors were busy,
Providing Eye Care, and plenty!
This year had been different,
From any they’d known,
But eye care is essential,
So, they couldn’t stay home.
The doctors worked on
Giving excellent care,
With no time to consider,
That Santa soon would be there.
Then what down the hall,
Do you think had appeared?
But technicians to help them,
So, they had nothing to fear!
They checked every eye,
Without taking a pause,
and completed their tasks
To await Santa Clause!
Then a moment of quiet,
After sanitizing equipment,
Caused them to reflect,
On what 2020 had meant.
Why surely you know?
That God has been good!
And helped us to care for you,
As He knew that we would.
But greater than this,
There’s a story to be told,
Of a baby in a manger,
His glory to behold!
God has given His Son,
To bring us Salvation and Light.
Merry Christmas to All,
And to All a Good Night!
