LASIK Wins the Gold Medal!

The Olympics are done, the medals have been won, and whether gold, silver, or bronze, there is much rejoicing!  Seeing champions compete at the highest level is fascinating; and as you might expect,  LASIK has a connection to dozens of Olympic medals too!

Laser vision correction (LASIK) has a proud tradition of helping athletes master their sport without the inconvenience of glasses or contact lenses.  Many athletes have competed with the benefits of LASIK, and brought home medals to the USA!  Following his LASIK procedure, Brendan Hansen led the USA to victory in swimming as a three-time gold medalist!  One of the all-time top winning female USA swimmers, with 6 gold medals, is Amy Van Dyken who had LASIK in 2011.
