AJ Leong, OD, FAAO, ABO

AJ Leong, OD was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of California – Davis, in Davis, CA, and then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. His Residency was completed at the Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, FL. The program focused on primary care optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease, low vision rehabilitation, and medically necessary contact lenses. While there, he was fortunate to work with various sub-specialty ophthalmologists from the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, including Cornea/Uvea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Oculoplastics.

Dr. Leong specializes in comprehensive eye care extending from routine care to treatment and management of ocular disease, as well as pre and post-surgical care.

He is married to his wife, Rachel, who is a Columbus native and Columbus High School graduate. Outside of the office, they enjoy spending time with family, cooking, crossfit, golfing, fly fishing, and skiing.

Home is not a place, it’s a feeling – though far from the West Coast, I am grateful to be growing roots in Columbus!
