James G. Brooks, Jr. M.D.

Dr. Brooks is a fellowship-trained Cornea/Anterior Segment Specialist, completing the additional training at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1992. He is Columbus’ most experienced anterior segment surgeon, receiving patients from across the region.

Cynthia P. Nix, M.D.

Cynthia Nix, M.D. is an American Board of Ophthalmology certified eye surgeon who joined West Georgia Eye Care Center in 2010. She is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist focusing on the surgical management of cataract/lens surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK). Dr. Nix is up-to-date on the most cutting-edge ophthalmic surgery techniques and procedures.
